Poilin Le muire (Pauline Jennings)

Poilin Lemuire first stated to paint in the late 1970's when introduced to Eleanor Harbison who was her art teacher for several years - the artistic journey was however interrupted when Poilin decided to concentrate on amateur sports and she represented Ireland at the first World Games in Santa Clara California in 1981. Returning regularly to art during the 80's - her mother Anne Jennings - a well respected water colorist - was her art teacher and mentor.
In the 1994 Poilin stopped painting after the death of her artist son Shane McCartan. 10 years later Poilin returned to art classes finding in artist Brian Byrnes a wonderful teacher - Polin has for the first time put her work on the market -- Poilin's art is greatly inspired by the work of the Impressionists especially Mary Cassatt, Renoir, Berthe Morisot, Cezanne and Degas. She also greatly admires the work of California based artist Sunny Apinchapong Yang.
