The year is 1966. At the top of Ardnageeha, a hill that overlooks the town of Ballymore, Joe Brennan and Mag Enright are a teenage couple preparing for their final school exams and their imminent wedding. Their premature marriage is a consequence of the society to which they belong because Mag is pregnant. They promise each other happiness, but unknown to them, a darker future lies ahead. Join Road to Ithaca productions for their first venture as they delve into the masterpiece that is Brian Friel's 'Lovers:Winners'. All profits go to the Dublin Simon Community.

“There’s this void you can’t fill... You try and fill it
with booze and drugs but there’s always a void”
What epitaph can tell a person’s story? What are we without belief? Bad Faith explores the deep psychological triggers that fashioned a young man’s life. The small-town that formed him, the father he rejected, the psychologist that changed his life… and the reasons he abandoned home, family and faith for a life on a Dutch building site. Returning after 20 years, the adult Gerard makes a series of painful discoveries on his road to redemption.
Back by popular demand after a sell-out run last February, don't miss this superb one-man show with a harrowing performance from Ben Mulhern and a refreshingly raw script from Owen Ryan. Don't Miss It!
