The Powerscourt Gallery is
joining forces with Temple Bars “FIRST THURSDAY” initiative. The “First
Thursday” initiative encourages all galleries to stay open late the
first Thursday of each month. (Feb,2nd)
The Powerscourt Gallery is one of the most highly regarded spaces in
Dublin. The space is dynamic and diverse and the gallery is open to
pushing the boundaries of the space on ‘First Thursday’ by inviting
artists into our warm atmospheric inspiring gallery to work, create,
develop ideas or simply absorb the power of creativity!
The space will be a sanctuary for creatives!
OPEN to all art forms, visual art, performance art, design, etc.
WIFI, some chairs and tables set up …but mostly free space.
The gallery is also open to the public offering a 10% discount on everything on ‘First Thursday’!!!!

Powerscourt Gallery are hosting informal life drawing sessions on a fortnightly basis.
This is a drop in class and will not be conducted by a tutor.
The aim is to explore the craft yourself and discuss afterwards with fellow classmates.
We supply the live model, tunes on the night and a complimentary glass of wine on arrival.
This
is the perfect opportunity to draw one of the most enduring themes in
the visual arts in a very chilled atmosphere and at your own pace.
