Claudia Hek
Claudia Hek was born on November 5th 1975 on the rustic island of Terschelling, which she quickly left in the dust for Amsterdam. She spent about one month in the Rietveld Art Academy before realising her vision of art wouldn’t be encouraged there.
Moving on from scary realistic portraiture to striking pin-ups and other so called lowbrow themes, she is now working on a freelance base for the last 7 years and is a well known artist in the underground scene.
Her style is most valued by garage/ rock bands and burlesque starlets and festivals worldwide for posters, logos and t- shirt designs.
Claudia also plays drums in a rock duo called ‘Sixtyniners’.
