Bríd Ní Rinn studied sculpture in N.C.A.D and the Academia and Institute of Art in Florence.
In 1958 she was awarded the Taylor Arts Scholarship.
Since 1960 she has completed over 70 commissioned sculpture pieces. She has work in 20 churches in Ireland , 2 in England and one piece in Iona College in New York. She also has public sculpture pieces in several towns in Kildare and North Co. Dublin .
She has exhibited annually in many group and selected shows such as R.H.A, Oireachtais, Éigse Catharlach, Aer Rianta’s Gateway to Art, Independent Artists, Sculpture in Context , and the Kildare Artist’s exhibitions.
Bríd Ní Rinn was a founding member of The Sculptor’s Society of Ireland – now Visual Artists Ireland.
