Ann Mc Kenna

Ann McKenna was born in Dublin and graduated from NCAD with an honours degree in Fine Art, specialising in Painting. She now lives and works in Co. Kildare. McKenna is also a member of The Leinster Print Studio where she does all her printing.

"I feel that the medium of print is perfectly suited to the narrative and I find endless inspiration amongst the earliest stories- the fairy stories, which we all remember from our infancy, where images, full of drama, of the battle between good and evil are etched in our memories. Apart from Intaglio printing, I paint and work in both Portraiture and Landscape and have work commissioned by the OPW and the HSE as well as privately." (Mc Kenna)
