Alison Britton

Alison Britton is a native of County Fermanagh where she lives and works. Alison specialises in the ancient art of Batik (resist dying fabric using wax). She also experiments extensively with various weights of fabric from coarse linen to gossamer silks, all of which give a different feel to a finished piece.

The application of these techniques coupled with her painting skills allow Alison to produce work that has a depth and tone not usually associated with Batik. Her jewel-like landscapes and refreshing floral work would be a beautiful and lively addition to any space.
